Early Learning Studio

Big discoveries begin with curiosity.

Children are natural explorers, storytellers, and creators. At the Family Care Collective’s Early Learning Studio, we nurture that curiosity through play, meaningful relationships, and hands-on discovery.

Designed for children ages 3–5 who use the toilet independently, our Studio offers Reggio Emilia inspired, preschool-style enrichment in a welcoming space where children’s ideas help shape the learning. Their questions, interests, and everyday experiences inspire opportunities to investigate, create, collaborate, and express themselves in many ways.

The Studio belongs to the children, too. They help care for their space, make choices, and take on responsibilities—building confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging along the way.

And learning reaches well beyond our walls. The Studio is a home base for adventures that invite children to connect with the world around them, find wonder in the everyday, and follow their next big question.

Ages: 3–5; children must use the toilet independently

Meet Zoe Wolfe!

Zoe Wolfe is the steward of the Early Learning Studio and works with children through a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach, meaning they view children as strong, capable individuals who each construct meaning through hands-on experience, relationships, a variety of modes or "languages," and a curriculum negotiated around the unique interests of the children. Through observation, reflection, and documentation, Zoe facilitates play-based experiences that allow children to deepen their own understanding and ideas of the world around them. Their background in outdoor education, neuroscience, and social emotional learning all come together when working with children, and they love getting to share the children's profound learning with the wider community at Family Care Collective!
